Alaya – Guide, Teacher, and Wellness Educator
With over 30 years of experience in Massage Therapy and Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Alaya has spent more than a decade leading workshops in conscious eating, cleansing, meditation, self-care, authentic movement, and couples massage at Harbin Hot Springs Retreat Center.
Her 20 years of community living and spiritual exploration at Harbin deepened her understanding of human connection, transformation, and the power of nature—wisdom she weaves into her work. A graduate of the Wilderness Reflections - Wilderness Quest Apprenticeship and Training, she has been honored by vision quest leader Lorindra Moon Star to carry forward the gift of guiding. She is also currently training in Hakomi Body-Centered Somatic Therapy, integrating mindfulness and somatic awareness into all she offers.
Alaya’s passion for food and well-being began in 1998 with raw food training at Living Light Culinary Institute. Her time at David Wolfe retreats and years leading wellness retreats at Harbin Hot Springs shaped her approach to nourishment, community, and mindful living.
Through her own journey of exploring emotional attachments to food, overcoming digestive challenges, and aligning her spiritual practice with conscious nourishment, Alaya embraces a balanced, sustainable approach to well-being. She is passionate about guiding others toward greater self-awareness, holistic wellness, and a deeper connection to nature.
