1-Day Winter Retreat: Rest, Restore, Reflect

  • The Temple Space at Satya's Home West Berkeley, CA (map)

with Satya Aune

Come join us for a day of nourishment and turning into our deep well of beingness. Together we regulate and cultivate a time of slowing down and listening to our unique flow and gifts.

The importance of Pause.

Being is an under valued aspect of life on this planet that values speed, consumption and instant gratification. Winter is a time when, traditionally, family and friends gather around food, community and resting. We like to offer this day in support for your soul to rest, restore and then reflect. We both experience that creative forces need time, beingness time, to wake up. Like the bears, being still to hibernate. Being is the foundation of our true nature, to deeply rest in one’s self, to have one’s self fully allows our body to relax, open and embrace unmet suffering and beauty that is held in our bodies from too much busyness and distractions. This is a time for you to understand more of what is in the way of stopping and nurturing your soul, as well as practical skills to bring it home and enjoy this precious season.

On this practice day we will offer

  • Guided Meditation

  • Yoga and Movements

  • Delicious Vegan Meal

  • Inspirational Teachings

  • Inquiry

  • Community Council
