Smoky Roasted Brussel Sprouts

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of organic brussel sprouts, cut in half or (quarters if they are really big!)

  • ½ tsp Smoked Paprika

  • ½ tsp Onion powder

  • ½ tsp Garlic powder

  • 1 tsp Salt 

  • ½ tsp Pepper

  • 1 tsp Cumin

  • Or herb blend of choice (be generous with the spice so all sprouts are coated)

  • 1/2 lemon, fresh juiced

  • 1 or 2 Tbsp. Olive oil


Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400F.

  2. Place cut brussel sprouts in a bowl and toss well with all spices and olive oil. Sprinkle lemon juice as you toss.

  3. Place brussel sprouts on a cookie sheet and put in a heated oven for approx. 20 minutes, until lightly crispy on top.
