Smoky Roasted Brussel Sprouts
Ingredients:
1 pound of organic brussel sprouts, cut in half or (quarters if they are really big!)
½ tsp Smoked Paprika
½ tsp Onion powder
½ tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp Salt
½ tsp Pepper
1 tsp Cumin
Or herb blend of choice (be generous with the spice so all sprouts are coated)
1/2 lemon, fresh juiced
1 or 2 Tbsp. Olive oil
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400F.
Place cut brussel sprouts in a bowl and toss well with all spices and olive oil. Sprinkle lemon juice as you toss.
Place brussel sprouts on a cookie sheet and put in a heated oven for approx. 20 minutes, until lightly crispy on top.
